I leave hand-painted rocks because sometimes the words we most need to hear arrive when we least expect them. A rock is something people pass by every day without a second thought, but with a message on it, it becomes an invitation to pause. Maybe someone finds one on a difficult day and reads exactly what they needed: "Keep going," "You matter," or "You're not alone." I leave rocks because kindness doesn't have to be grand to be powerful. It's my way of placing small reminders of hope into the world and trusting they'll reach the person who needs them. Each rock is a message carried by chance, but created with intention—a quiet connection between strangers who may never meet, yet somehow share the same human need to feel seen, encouraged, and cared for.
