Cancellation and Refund Policy

I understand that sometimes circumstances change and you may need to cancel or rearrange your counselling appointment. To ensure fairness and allow appointment times to be offered to other clients, the following cancellation and refund policy applies to all booked counselling sessions.
 

Cancellation Notice and Fees

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide as much notice as possible.
 

The following cancellation charges apply:

• More than 48 hours' notice: No cancellation fee will be charged. Any payment already made will be refunded in full.

• More than 24 hours but no more than 48 hours' notice: A cancellation fee of 50% of the session cost will apply. If you have already paid, 50% of the session fee will be refunded.

• 24 hours' notice or less: The full session fee (100%) will be charged, and no refund will be issued.

Missed Appointments

If you do not attend your scheduled counselling session without providing notice, the full session fee will be charged. Missed appointments are non-refundable.
 

Rescheduling Appointments

If you wish to reschedule your appointment, please provide more than 48 hours' notice to avoid cancellation charges.

Requests to reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment will be subject to the same cancellation terms outlined above.

Cancellations by the Counsellor

In the unlikely event that I need to cancel your appointment, I will aim to provide as much notice as possible.

You will be offered the opportunity to rearrange your session at a mutually convenient time or receive a full refund for the cancelled appointment.
 

Exceptional Circumstances

I understand that unexpected emergencies and exceptional circumstances can arise. If you are unable to attend your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact me as soon as possible.

Any exceptions to this policy will be considered on an individual basis and at my discretion, without affecting your statutory rights.

Refunds

Where a refund is due, it will be processed using the original payment method wherever possible.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory consumer rights.
 

Agreement to This Policy

By booking a counselling appointment, you acknowledge and agree to the cancellation and refund terms outlined above, subject to your statutory rights.

I appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping me manage appointments fairly and maintain a consistent counselling service.
